Been calling for 3 days to get refills on my anti anxiety/anti depression meds. Nothing. No call backs. No prescriptions. Nothing. Absolute garbage office. Will not be returning again.

Didn't care for my doctor and wanted a different primary. My insurance approved the change. They won't because my body my choice isn't a thing there. They won't transfer you to another doctor in the same practice.

Every time I go there they either don't know how to treat, can't treat or refuse to treat. This time I went in with 5 weeks of post nasal drip after trying every OTC solution. I expected a referral and a couple weeks of antibiotics for a chronic sinus infection (standard treatment). Instead they made me wait another week before prescribing 1 week of antibiotics and referring me to an ENT associated with Albany Med. After telling me that they were prescribing antibiotics, I went to the store to get my prescription filled only to find out they never even placed it. If you can, save yourself a trip and just go to Albany for treatment.

As a longtime Ellis patient, I’ve been going to this practice for 5 years. This practice deserves an award for the worst, most unhelpful staff. I know at least 7 people who have had the same awful experiences here. The front desk staff, for the entire duration I’ve been going here, has been rude and insufferable. Time and time again, for years on end, it takes over a month of begging and constant calling to get prescriptions filled. They also force you into appointments you don’t need (other than a yearly physical) to get a script filled that they know you’ve been on for years. If you don’t go to those predatory appointments for your insurance money, they deny your script that the doctors know you’ve need. I’ve never had that happen at any other primary practice. They consistently refuse to become efficient for medication requests. I despise that I’ve even been going here for so long when there are so many other reputable practices that can actually treat you with respect and care. Do yourself a favor and please go somewhere else if your insurance will allow. Ellis medicine has gone completely downhill in the last 5-7 years.

The doctor that I thought I liked neglected my five messages. I now have RA in my hands and trying to find out anything from this place is like pulling teeth. If this doctor thinks she’s gonna be a real doctor she better find some compassion and actually start to care. If I could give 0 stars I would. It takes 5 minutes to call a patient and let them know what is wrong with them. 5 minutes. Or is that too much for a patient to ask their doctor to do for them. Then just today I went there to get my blood drawn since they do it there in house and it was closed. This place is the worst if you can’t keep the blood drawn open the CLOSE IT ALL TOGETHER. YOU PEOPLE DON’T CARE I CAME FROM ANOTHER APPOINTMENT TO GET THIS DONE TO FIND IT CLOSED . WORST PLACE EVERY
